PickMyCarBrain can be your go to for consumer automotive questions that can save both money and headache. Additionally, we can help automotive consumers on the opposite side of the equation with exiting their vehicle through a sale, trade, or other means.

Technically you don’t need the help of PickMyCarBrain with the purchase or lease of your next vehicle. But bear in mind the typical length of ownership is now over eight years for a new vehicle and trending towards eight and a half. PickMyCarBrain works for you the automotive consumer as opposed to the dealer, retailer, or independent who needs you to buy or lease a vehicle. To best use session time and optimize value for our clients we follow a soft outline that has proven effective. Regardless, session time is a live event between two individuals and as a result should be fluid and dynamic for best results. Standard session communication is conducted via telephone for a set period. 


PickMyCarBrain may utilize a pre-session survey to collect both general and specific information relating to the client’s situation. While survey response is not mandatory it is encouraged because it will make session time more efficient. 

How does PickMyCarBrain protect customer information?

PickMyCarBrain protects customer information in a variety of ways. During customer transactions, data is protected using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption supplied by Verisign. Once stored on our server, data is secured using state-of-the-art firewall protection provided and as well as monitored, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information. In some cases, the "lock" icon may not appear on your web browser. To verify that a page is secure, you can right-click with your mouse from within the page and select "properties" to see encryption details for the page you are viewing.

Should I feel secure about giving PickMyCarBrain my credit card information?

PickMyCarBrain has taken precautions to protect your credit card information both during and after financial transactions. 128-bit SSL encryption protects the information during processing, and a state-of-the-art firewall protects information on our server. For credit card processing, PickMyCarBrain utilizes the services of Verisign, Inc., the industry standard widely recognized for providing solutions for secure online payment processing with various web clients.

Our website is updated on an as needed basis to stay on top of new trends, products, and/or services that may prove valuable to PickMyCarBrain users and clients alike. Can I use PickMyCarBrain as a Canadian resident?

No, unfortunately PickMyCarBrain is only servicing the United States market now. However, we plan to expand internationally and please check back as we announce future expansion plans.   

SCHEDULING AND PRICING QUESTIONS

How do I schedule a standard session with PickMyCarBrain?

It is easy and quick to schedule a standard session with PickMyCarBrain. Go to our website and click any of the scheduling links provided to check our availability. Once you find an available day and time that works for you simply click as instructed online. Full payment is required to officially schedule your standard PickMyCarBrain session. A pre-session survey may be used to collect both general and specific information relating to the client’s situation. Survey response is not mandatory; however, it is encouraged because it will make session time more efficient when applicable.   

How much does a standard session with PickMyCarBrain cost?

Currently PickMyCarBrain charges $100.00 for a single standard session. A standard session consists of a live phone call with automotive expert who will address your concerns and field your questions. A standard session is scheduled for a duration not to exceed 15 minutes. Payment in full is required to officially schedule a session. Specials and discounts may be available periodically with specific pricing details including when offered.  

How does a typical standard session with PickMyCarBrain work or go?

A standard session begins with PickMyCarBrain reaching out to you via telephone using the phone number provided during registration. After confirming we have the correct individual on the call it is time for the question-and-answer session. Session dialogue can be guided in several directions using different approaches. In some instances, clients prefer to focus on a high ration of questions and answers per the allotted call duration. Whereas in others they request more of an overview of the consumer automotive process as opposed to many direct or specific questions. Sometimes client sessions focus on only one or two specific items, and this approach is often utilized on items that are either complicated, expensive, or both. Regardless, PickMyCarBrain will do our best to tailor the session to what best meets the needs of our client.


Also, a pre-session survey to collect both general and specific information relating to the client’s situation may be utilized. Responding to the is not mandatory, however PickMyCarBrain urges you to do so because it will make better use of session time. 

What if PickMyCarBrain cannot answer one of my questions or is uncertain of the proper answer?

First and foremost, PickMyCarBrain not being able to field an automotive industry related question appropriately or well will be the exception as opposed to the rule with our experience and knowledge base. Regardless, things can change due to various factors including consumer sentiment, legalities, and/or technology to name just a few. As a result, the situation can arise when we either don’t have a clear and/or complete answer that we feel comfortable in sharing and putting our reputation behind. When this occurs, we contact our research department and use our resources to find the best answer possible. We will then get back to our client in a timely fashion with the information requested.  

Can I book a follow-up session if new and/or additional questions arise later in my consumer automot

Yes, a single session or multiple follow-up sessions may be scheduled only limited by availability. Note that PickMyCarBrain will make every reasonable effort to accommodate follow-up sessions in a timely fashion because we understand our new client may require attention resulting from an in-process vehicle transaction. All reasonable efforts will also be made to direct follow-up sessions to the same PickMyCarBrain representative, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.

TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY QUESTIONS

Do you receive any commissions from vehicle dealerships?

No, PickMyCarBrain does not receive compensation from automotive dealerships and/or retailers. PickMyCarBrain works solely for our clients who are automotive consumers with no conflicts of interest. You can count on us to provide you the automotive consumer with accurate and valuable information permitting you to purchase or lease your next vehicle with confidence and peace of mind. 

Can PickMyCarBrain help me save money?

Yes, you can save money when using PickMyCarBrain and it can be significant. However, we make no promises about saving money. Instead, we focus on the overall automotive purchase or lease experience and understand that there are multiple ways we can provide value to our clients. Consider the value derived from entering your next vehicle transaction knowing what to do and what not to do to best meet your needs as an automotive consumer. There is also the potential to make similar money go further through customer use case analysis and education efforts. 

What makes advice from the PickMyCarBrain unbiased?

Depending on one’s definition or at least application of the word bias it plays into how this question should be addressed. First, PickMyCarBrain strives to share information that is based on facts and data as opposed to less objective methods and most of the time we successfully meet or exceed that standard. That said, yes PickMyCarBrain is a good source for unbiased information for automotive consumers seeking out their next vehicle. 


However, our retail automotive experience gets in the way sometimes when coupled with our automotive knowledge base potentially creating favoritism with our recommendations and conclusions. Perhaps this also fits the definition or maybe it doesn’t? For instance, PickMyCarBrain believes that a significantly larger percentage of automotive consumers should consider leasing as a vehicle financing alternative. We have arrived at this conclusion for a multitude of reasons based on a combination of our opinions and data. That said, PickMyCarBrain takes the position of trying to offer the best information to our clients to optimize their vehicle transaction, rather than strive to be completely bias free.

We know the ins and outs of vehicle financing through banks, credit unions, and captives alike. That is what to look for and what to avoid when in the market for your next vehicle. 

Can PickMyCarBrain help me if it is my first-time buying or leasing a vehicle?

Yes. In fact, we strongly encourage those new to purchasing or leasing a vehicle to use our service. First timers typically fall into one of two categories. One is those, that who are genuinely new to the process and have no experience in the consumer automotive space directly or otherwise. Second, are those who have been provided with information by acquaintances, family, and/or friends that may or may not be accurate or helpful. Regardless of what group you fit into we can help you navigate the consumer automotive process. 

Can PickMyCarBrain help me if I have poor credit, had a bankruptcy, or some other type of negative c

Yes, PickMyCarBrain can assist you if you have had credit problems in the past. However, our help may or may not equate to our client getting their first choice of vehicle or a vehicle whatsoever based on the severity of their credit problems. Various factors will be considered including the duration of time since any problems have occurred, stability in both residence and employment, and debt to income ratios. Additional stipulations may apply that do not apply for prime borrowers and stricter loan equity requirements will often be enforced.

When it comes to back-end products in general, PickMyCarBrain has an overall positive view. In many cases these additional products add significant value for the automotive consumer. Value is the keyword when it comes to these extra offerings. Ancillary products and services should be available at a fair price and any applicable coverage limitations need to be transparent. 

Can automotive dealerships pay to advertise and/or purchase promotional sponsorship at PickMyCarBrai

No. Even though PickMyCarBrain takes a pro dealership stance overall we believe that doing so could reasonably be perceived as a conflict of interest by our users and clients alike. After all, we represent the interests of the automotive consumer as opposed to the dealership. Regardless, it is our objective to establish positive relationships with many dealerships and automotive retailers who do business correctly benefitting our mutual customer base.

What do I do if I forget my "User ID" and/or "Password" information?

Go to the account Login area and click on the Forgot Password link. Next enter the email address that you used to register with PickMyCarBrain. Then click the Reset Password link that will send you an email for obtaining your new password.  From the PickMyCarBrain password reset email you will need to enter your new password following the security requirements. Lastly, login into the PickMyCarBrain website using your username and newly reset password.
